Well, waxing has never been proven bad until recently. Anything with carnauba wax, polymers and resins all melt off of the paint quicker than we think. Its been proven with scientific testing, that 14 days of direct sunlight, carnauba wax melts off of the car. So even if a wax claims it lasts three to six months, it more than likely doesn’t last longer than two weeks. Continuous waxing actually can inhibit oxidation because it doesn’t contain UV protection.
